Modern

Elegant, straightforward design characterises the street lights of this modern line – perfectly manufactured on the basis of our more than 140 years of corporate experience. Modern manufacturing methods, the processing of high-quality materials and the highest light and electrotechnical standards guarantee products of mature quality.

Classic

The classic luminaires, which have been created true to detail in accordance with our original designs, convince with their traditionally designed, precisely manufactured shapes. Whether powered by gas or electricity – they always put landscapes, roads and architecture in the right light. And this in Germany, in Europe and even worldwide.

Inside

Famous lights. Genuine enamel. The type of luminaire is well-known and widespread. The umbrellas are – as originally – enamelled with an outside coloured glaze, inside snow-white porcelain glaze, which improves reflector behaviour and makes the luminaires – often built for outdoor use – absolutely weatherproof for many decades.

Masts and accessories

Matching nostalgic light mastss made of grey cast iron or cast aluminium for the decorative lamps of different epochs.
Light spot heights from 2.0 m to 4.5 m. With drawn-in steel tube for greater stability. Ladder supports according to the old model.
For single luminaires or multiple crowns with up to 5 luminaires.

Conversion kits for various luminaires from different manufacturers

Latest LED technology for classic and modern luminaires

Environmental protection, energy saving, CO2 savings,… – the requirements for today’s lighting do not stop with the “standard-compliant lighting” of a street or a square. Much higher demands are made on quality and environmental compatibility.

Conversion kits for modern high-pressure luminaires from a wide variety of manufacturers or for historic decorative lamps that match the look of the luminaire are in demand. As a manufacturer of luminaires with over 140 years of experience, we know what is required. We offer you a wide variety of LED conversion kits. Suitable also for your needs.

LED-STAR: the new star in the firmament – was our first LED street light in 2010 and is manufactured today with the latest LEDs

The LED-STAR is the new perfect product result of consistent development work.
Innovative LED lighting technology and modern design are combined to create an extraordinary luminaire. The optic with 48 High Power 1 Watt LEDs has a luminous flux of about 4100 Im.
Compared with a high-pressure mercury vapour lamp of 80 watts, this results in a 15 % higher luminous efficacy and at the same time a 25 % lower energy consumption, which corresponds to an improvement in energy efficiency of 40 %. This means saving CO² right from the start. The service life of 12 years also saves two lamp replacements with the corresponding disposal of the mercury-containing lamps.
The LED-STAR is characterized by the technically sophisticated star-shaped arrangement of the LEDs.
Perfect matching: The advanced temperature management system ensures that the LED optics operate at an optimum operating point. The absorbed power from the mains, the operating temperature of the LEDs, the service life and luminous efficacy are perfectly matched to each other.

Significant energy savings: The star optics can be divided into eight light arms for 1/4,2/4,3/4 or 4/4 switching. Depending on the requirements, the lighting requirement can be individually controlled, resulting in a further significant increase in energy savings. The lighting level can be steplessly regulated by the use of electronics with dimming function. The start-up process known from high-pressure lamps is no longer necessary.
Long service life: In the case of half-night switching, the more active modules can be replaced at the end of their service life and the partially switched off modules can be used for a correspondingly longer period of time. This increases the service life of the luminaire by a further years. The use of high-quality, environmentally friendly materials also contributes to maintaining value. Additional safety: The electronics used permanently monitor the modules and provide additional safety by switching off at the end of the service life.
Variety of applications: For corresponding applications, the optic can also be supplied in a four-arm version with 24 LEDs or a six-arm version with 36 LEDs. Further optics are under development.

Environment friendly: Individual optics, e. g. fan-shaped, guarantee additional lighting quality. The arrangement of the LEDs with a 120° recess on the mast side increases the quality of living for the residents, as the annoying light component on the building side is significantly reduced. Another advantage is the lack of infrared and ultraviolet components in the spectrum of LEDs. Nocturnal insects are thus not disrupted excessively in their natural course of life.

Optilight – a research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology

Resource-efficient lighting

Conventional street lights waste light because they place it inefficiently. Luminous flux values up to 10 times higher than required are measured directly underneath the luminaire in order to achieve standard-compliant illumination of the edges.

A new type of optics in combination with advanced LED technology leads to energy savings of up to 50% by distributing the light exactly where it is needed. The intelligent optics thus contribute to the fact that future street lighting can be designed in a resource-efficient way.
